Bill, my name is Afi Scruggs. I was a columnist at the PD when you were there.

Your look back is ironic, especially now that the PD is struggling to get its arms around the web.

Good to hear from you.

I read your article online about newspaper migraton to the Web. I was a news researcher for 25 years for a group of newspapers that changed ownership 4 times during my employment. The latest management let me off last July. It's very depressing.
